Cavern Diver Course
Cavern Diver is the first step into our spectacular world of underwater caves. It is the starting point towards the Cave Diver certification and it will prepare you for diving in some overhead environments. During training, you will always stay within the natural light zone and we will never be more than 200ft/60m from open water to maximize your safety. Some of the main focuses of the program are buoyancy control, team diving, environmental conservation, and emergency procedures.
The Cavern Diver course is a 3-4 day program. During the theory classes, land drills, and in-water sessions we will provide a solid foundation for your overhead environment training. The goal is to perfect your buoyancy, kicking techniques, in-water awareness, and the use of lines and reels. The course requires that complete at least 4 dives with a minimum total bottom time of 80 minutes but we will probably be underwater for about triple that amount of time. After this course, you will be ready to participate in Intro to Cave .
