SCUBA 101 – Beginner Package

Learn to Dive! If you want to participate in a beginner scuba diving program and get a little more experience after the course, then this is the perfect package for you. With our Scuba 101 Package, you will receive the Open Water Course over 3 days from one of our expert instructors and then you will have 2 additional days to practice what you learned and experience what we have to offer!

The Open Water Course consists of a few videos and some bookwork which you can complete at home before arriving in Playa del Carmen or Tulum.  Once that is done, you will get an easy introduction into the equipment and skills you will need to know to be a safe and confident scuba diver.  You will be guided through all the necessary confined water skills, and then on the second and third days, we will go into the ocean or open water site to give you your first experience seeing all of the marine life in the Mexican Riviera Maya.  You will complete 4 dives which will last between 30 and 50 minutes each.  During those dives you may see all kinds of fish, corals, turtles, stingrays among many other species.

After we finish the course, we will take you on an additional 2 open water dives in the Playa del Carmen area and 2 dives in the Dos Ojos Cenotes.  You will be able to put your new found skills to practical use!  If you want to maximize the amount of marine life you see, be sure to upgrade one day to dive in Cozumel.
